What are the advantages and disadvantages of woven fabrics

Advantages:

1. The advantages of woven fabrics are that the structure is stable, the cloth surface is flat, and there is generally no sagging phenomenon when hanging, which is suitable for various tailoring methods.

2. Woven fabrics are suitable for various printing, dyeing and finishing methods. Generally speaking, printing and jacquard patterns are more delicate than knitted, braided and felt fabrics. There are a wide variety of fabrics and colors. As a clothing fabric, it has good washing resistance and can be refurbished, dry cleaning and various finishing.

3. Because the warp and weft of the woven fabric have little relationship with the shrinkage, the cup is converted, so the fabric is generally tight and stiff.

4. When the warp and weft raw materials, yarn counts and densities of the fabric are different, the fabric is anisotropic, and different interlacing rules and post-packing conditions can form different appearance and personality.

Disadvantages:

1. Woven fabrics extend in all directions and are elastic, not as good as knitted fabrics.

2. Woven fabrics are not as breathable as knitted fabrics and feel hard.
